It was an intrepid gathering of weatherproofed golfers that ventured out at Littlestone Warren Golf Course. Horizontal and continuous rain on a shortened flood affected course made for a brutal challenge.
Ian Horsham (11HC) continued a rich vein of quality golf with an astounding 35 points win, skipper Pat Dawkins (13HC) put aside the admin nightmare to take second on 33 points. Countback separated Paul Sequenza (12 HC) and last months winner Rhys Batty (13 HC) with the later taking the honours, both on 32 points
Spot prizes were restricted to just 2 nearest the pins won by Andy Mair and Ian Horsham, Simon Holmes monstered a 300 yarder to take longest drive.
The wooden spoon went to Dave ‘where are you going now’ Sears
The 2s club was a rollover and Kev Mullins collected the sweep stake for the picking the correct winner
