Based on the August 2026 survey, attendees have voted to keep the Ryder Cup format for the weekend at The Essex Golf and Country Club on Fri 7th, Sat 8th, Sun 9th Aug 2026 subject to numbers.

  • Your individual Friday course handicap stays the same for the other 2 matches (Friday EG course HC or society HC)

  • TEES TBA on all 3 rounds
  • Scorecards returned to the organiser/team skipper on completion of your round
  • Complete the round for the Stableford most points competition

Each team will have a skipper (Andy Oxberry-Red Team and Karl Robson-Blue team) who decide your pairs (Fri/Sat) and match number. The organiser will compile the daily Stableford/match points and final winning scores for the Sunday afternoon presentation, see formats, prizes, teams
