One of the closest matches for many seasons with first and third place going to count back at an immaculate Faversham Belmont Golf Course.
Ian Jackson took first prize with 36 points matched by second place Alex McBeth 36, Howard Turbitt 35 was also matched by Karl Robson’s 35 but took third place again on count back. This was also a first round cup match but Karl Robson took the approach shot award on the 5th, Howard Turbitt – nearest the pin on the 9th and Alex McBeth nearest the pin on the 16th.
There was also a presentation by club skipper Steve Winder to member Kevin Mullins who’s son Ethan has MPS. At our last society day the club raised nearly £400 in fines, donations and prizes money returns, see ‘wear blue for Ethan day’.
The club would like to congratulate Kevin for the money he’s managed to raise over the past few weeks with sponsored walks, social media awareness and through his network of work colleagues and friends.
