St Stephens Golf Society started their 2023 season with a good turnout at Westgate GC on a dry but cold day.
New skipper Bob McDougall took the reins for the first time and presented a golf day voucher with £40 to maiden winner Kevin Mullins on 39pts, just pipping second place Ian Horsham on 38pts and Derek Beven beating Simon Fowler on countback for 3rd place.

Spot prizes for nearest the pins were won by Ricky Woolley, Kingsley Williams (2) and new member Phil Deere, Bob McDougall just squeezed past Paul Sequenza by 5mm for the longest drive; all winning a pocket of logo balls
