This Inaugural meeting between an all stars St Stephen’s team and Hythe GC Vets at Hythe Golf Course ended in a draw.

Each fielding 6 pairs it was honours even after a tough ‘betterball’ comp in strong winds and rain. With the scores standing and 3-2 in favour of the guests Kerry King and John Commerford beat Bob McDougall and Tony Peacock 3 and 2 to level the match for Hythe.
St Stephen’s match day skipper Mick Bevan thanked Hythe Vets for their hospitality and presented their skipper Richard with a bottle of brandy.
