Format

• Summer League commences 1st May to 30th Sept 2025
• Best average from 15 matches, winner takes 75% of the prize pot
• Most birdies (all matches) 25% of the prize pot
• Minimum 3 courses in your best 15 scores
• Minimum 5 scorers** on your best 15 score cards
• Handicaps: EG HC or SSGS designated HC (skipper)
• £10.00pp (prize pot)
  
• Free entry for SSGS members, £5.00 for non-members (sign on fee)
• Tees: Yellow (men), red (ladies) or course equivalent
• R and A/Local rules apply
• NO GIMMES!

Scoring and card submission

• Score cards must be signed and submitted (photo) via the Summer League WhatsApp group page clearly showing (see sample below)…
  • your name (+ signature)
  • scorers name (+ signature)
  • course played
  • date played
  • your course HC (EG or adjusted society HC*)
  • Stableford total score
  • birdie holes

* members not using the England Golf (EG) app will be allotted a SSGS handicap, this handicap (HC) will change in alignment with EG app members depending on the course slope value, ie: Ian Horsham is an EG (World Index) 12HC playing Canterbury GC (+2 slope) = 14HC. His non-EG HC opponents HC will also change +2 from the designated society HC.

** your scorer must also be a summer league member and part of your playing group who attests your score.
