After some heavy showers during the week and members concerns about the venue, the monthly society match was played on an immaculate late spring St Augustine’s course. A tight but shorter than average yardage, St Augustine’s was always going to deliver high scores.
Skipper Karl Robson made it 2 on the trot after count back with a staggering 43 points just beating Paul Sequenza, another high scoring 41pts secured 3rd place for Royston Gough.

Spot prizes were won by Anthony Back (longest drive), Alex McBeth (nearest the pin/approach) and Darren Holman (nearest the pin). 2’s club rollover of £50 was won by Paul Rayner.
In the cup, Nigel Stevenson beat Martin Supple, Paul Rayner beat Antony Back and Royston Gough beat Alex McBeth.
The club would also like to say ‘bon voyage’ to Darren Holman, club member for 4 years who is moving abroad, good luck ‘Dazzlar’.
