A very weather hostile day at River Valley with rain and strong winds keeping the scores low, it was new member Carl Bolton (22hc) who managed to tame the elements with an impressive 37 points and picking up his first society day match day win, four shots ahead of Rob Impey (44hc) and Dave Taylor (8hc) on 31 points. All the rest of the field scoring in the 20s with one member retiring early due to the conditions.
The KO cup semi-final was won by Ian Jackson (12hc) beating Alex McBeth (17hc) 3/2. Only one spot prize won by Simon Fowler on the 16th nearest the pin and the 2s club rolls over for a 3rd month £39.00
