Our annual visit to the beautiful Sene Valley golf course in Hythe turned out to be a big challenge for all the attendees. With a stiff breeze and lightning fast greens scores were low but required countbacks to determine the winners.
A 2 man countback decided 1st place Ian Neary (22HC) and 2nd place Mick Bevan (20HC) both on 35 points and a 3 man countback between Paul Sequenza (16HC), Pat Dawkins (16HC) and Bob McDougall (17HC) all on 31 points with Sequenza just taking 3rd place.
Spot prizes were won by Nigel Stevenson, Pat Dawkins, Mark Blundell and Simon Fowler. The wooden spoon was also a tight finish with Roy Coveney taking the honour.
In the KO Cup, Ian Horsham beat Pete Kenehan 2 and 1, Pat Dawkins beat Mark Blundell on countback.
Sweepstake went to Ian Horsham who picked the event winner and Pat Dawkins took home the 2s club cash.
