With top of the Leader Board Bob McDougall unavailable, the chasers took full advantage of a benign Upchurch River Valley course to close the gap. With just 7 points separating the top 4 players next months final event at Cobb Tree Manor is shaping up to be an almighty battle for the Most Points Shield.
Terry Porter with a tricky lie
Ian Horsham (16HC) and new member Simon Homes (28HC) both grabbed 38 points with Horsham taking first place on countback. Nigel Stevenson (19HC) could have beaten this had he not lost his ball on the 18th to finish third.

New member Ivor Castle picked the winner for the Sweepstake and the 2s club was a rollover.
