The final event of the year was sadly affected by illness with several regulars absent, but the fit fought on playing a friendly match and collected over 100 Chocolate oranges for front line health workers
The December festivities are traditionally celebrated with members and friends donating a tray of the popular chocolate to be distributed amongst local doctors, nurses, ancillaries and other medical staff who work hard all year in the local area. This year was another bumper hoard thanks to members Alan Mountain and Kevin Mullins who organised the event
Simon Fowler skippering his last match of the year sent the hardy few out on a cold and damp Chestfield Golf Course; Ian Horsham rounding off a tremendous season with another win, Charlie Orpin 2nd and Paul Sequenza 3rd.
Spot prizes went to Rhys Hywell Batty, Paul Sequenza and Bob McDougal. A team comp was won by Rhys Hywell Batty, Roy Coveny and Bob McDougal. 2s club went to Tony Peacock
