A break in the unseasonably wet weather made for a great days golf at Chestfield GC with some high scores and tight cup results. Chestfield GC member Jason Robson made full use of his local knowledge with a 42pts round followed by ex Chestfield member Ian Jackson on 41pts. Count-back edged Antony Back into third just beating Andy Oxberry and lady member Sue Jones, all on 35pts.
The semi final cup match was even tighter with Kev Mullins and Dave Gregory taking the tie to the last hole with Dave Gregory just taking the first grand final place 1up.
Other winners inc nearest the pins for Nigel Stevenson, Steve Winder and Robert Impey with the 2s club going to Ian Jackson.
