Handicap secretary Andy Oxberry celebrated his last match of 2019 by putting together a fun day of ‘Waltz’ format golf at Canterbury Golf Club. On a very wet course, combined scores were also matched with sector scoring on the cards making for an entertaining round plus the usual spot prizes.
Overall winners were team Darren Holman, Carl Bolton and Nigel Stevenson, score sector winners were team Kevin Oxberry, Simon Fowler and Dave Gregory. Spot prizes were won by Mark Vinter, Kevin Mullins and Keving Oxberry.
Same evening club members attended Cafe de China in Canterbury for drinks and a food.
