Return to the new Boughton Golf Course after a years gap, St Stephen’s GS made the most of the new facilities on a very cold and frosty autumn morning. 18 members attending; the course was in very good condition considering the heavy rain over the past 2 weeks but nonetheless conditions were difficult.
Kevin Beasley (32hc) won his first society competition with a steady 39 points followed by new member Mick Bevan (23hc) on 36 points who just edged out Kevin Oxberry (20hc) on count back.
Kevin more than made up for it taking 2 spot prizes (nearest the pin-approach shot and longest drive) with returning Invicta League player Karl Robson taking the nearest the pin cash prize.
