Two new members joined the society for August’s event at Boughton Golf Course. With the drought continuing the greens were in immaculate condition but the hard, fast fairways caused problems for some members. Not however 2nd time season winner Mick Bevan playing his home course cruising to a very respectable 40 points, pipping Carl Bolton by 1 point on 39 points and Mick Bedford on 38 points.
Par 3 spot prize nearest the pins and nearest the pin approach shot were won by Derek Bevan (2) and new member Roy Coveney.

In the KO Cup, Kingsley Williams beat Paul Sequenza 3 and 2, Mick Bevan beat Carl Bolton 2 and 1
