For the first time in the history of the club, the society day has a lady winner. Congratulations Sue Jones 44 points who made the best of a high scoring event with the Boughton course tamed by good weather and negligible rough. 2nd Mark Vinter 40 points on count-back to 3rd Kevin Mullins 40 points as the top 3 all cracked the 40 mark. For the record and also very close 4th place Mike Barham 39 points and 5th Anthony Back 38 points also beat their net handicap.
Other trophies won on the day included nearest the pins for Dave Gregory and Anthony Back with the nearest the pin on approach shot going to Sue Jones.
‘Twos Club’ was a roll over and was shared 4 ways by Dave Gregory, Darren Holman, Ian Jackson and Andy Oxberry each receiving £11 each.
4 Knockouts were also played with the following going through to the next round: Kevin Mullens 7 up, Steve Winder 5 & 4, Darren Holman 3 & 2 and Dave Gregory 2 up.
