First visit for St Stephen’s GS to Littlestone Warren GC in New Romney on a perfect dry and sunny Saturday. A short but challenging course it was always going to suit the more accurate golfer with plenty of water hazards and treacherous rough.
New member and novice golfer Peter Talbot (39) took full advantage scoring 45pts and claimed his first win for the society, in the same 4 ball group Howard Turbitt (23) 42pts took second with some adventurous golf and Alex McBeth (18) 40pts completed the prize winning group in third place.

Nearest the pin competitions were won by Paul Rayner and Pat Dawkins, the approach shot by Ian Jackson who also collected the 2’s club pot of over £30
Overall nearly £100 worth of prizes won on the day.
The KO Cup was also drawn after the match assisted by catering director Phoebe.
