With the Royal wedding and FA Cup taking the attentions of some members, a reduced turn out enjoyed a glorious afternoons golf at this spectacular parkland course. Karl Robson (35pts) made it 3 on the bounce as he just pipped Nigel Stevenson (34pts) on the podium with Royston Gough and Paul Sequensa having to go to countback on 28 pts, the later just taking 3rd.
We were joined by 2 new members Russel and Evija Russel at Faversham and South African Russel McKelvey made the most of his debut with the nearest the pin approach shot and a 300yd longest drive! He received 2 pockets of logo’d balls for his efforts.
Karl Robson also beat Royston Gough in the only KO cup match of the day.
