Several members of the St Stephen’s Golf Society made the trip this year for the annual Marie Curie charity golf competition organised by Sky TV’s Chris Kamara

This annual event was attended by members: Antony Back, Mark Vinter, Nigel Stevenson, Alex McBeth, Dave Gregory and Steve Hughes along with Dickie Lietch and Steve Garrod they formed two teams for the Texas Scramble event at Adeje Golf Course near Play Las Americas on 1st June.
The ‘Canterbury Boys’ Team captained by Antony Back were best of the 17 teams entered winning the competition. Presentation by Chris Kamara followed by live music at The Hole in the Wall.
Sue Jones joined the group for the friendly matches played at Las Americas and Golf Del Sur courses over the weekend
