St Stephen’s GS entered two teams for this years annual Sene Valley Golf Club Cotton Golf Society Championships (Friday 6th Oct 17). In total 11 teams were entered by local Kent societies plus a representative team from Luton.

Defending champions (St Stephen’s GS won last years event) Jason Robson, Alex McBeth, Nigel Stevenson and captain Kev Mullins came in 5th on 80 points (best two Stapleford), St Stephen’s B team: Mark Vinter, Sue Jones, Dave Gregory and captain Antony Back 4th on 83 points. Kev Mullins picked up a 4 ball prize for his nearest the pin.
A disappointing set of results on a course set-up with longer than normal rough but a great day for the club at one of Kent’s top golf courses.
