Skipper Paul Sequenza (L) presents winner Nigel Stevenson with the 1st prize golf voucher
The Societies first trip outside Kent for a society day proved to be a journey too far for most members. With only 3 scoring 30+ points this challenging water strewn parkland adventure took its toll.
St Stephen’s senior member Nigel Stevenson used all his guile and experience to engineer a match winning 37 points followed by playing partner Gareth Venables on 32 points. John Knight just made it to the 30s club with a hard grafted 30 points to take 3rd.
Spot prizes of a pocket of logo balls went to Gareth Venables and new member Ian Horsham, 2s club is a roll-over, Wooden Spoon went to new member Mick Jackson.
The KO Cup match between Alan Mountain and Bob McDougal was won convincingly in a low scoring match 5 and 3 by McDougal
