Weather was always going to affect the scores at an immaculate Sene Valley GC as strong winds and heavy rain hit the course part way through the competition.
Amassing an impressive 24 points on the front 9 holes, new member Rhrodri Walters (16HC) hung on adding 15 points on the back 9 for a match winning 39 points. Alan Mountain (20HC) continues to improve his season with another pole position 2nd place 36 points followed by Bob McDougal (19HC) on 33 points who also just pipped Gareth Venables on the last hole in the KO Cup.
Nearest the pins were won by new member Mike Davies (who also won the 2s club cash prize), Alix Mitchell and Alan Mountain. Carl Bolton won the Sweepstake.
With nearly half the members scoring less than 30 points the wooden spoon award was finally battled out between the Bevan Boys Mick and Derek, the former taking the honours with an out of character 22 points
