2015 cup competition, played over 5 rounds (32 members), Stableford (and local) rules. Games to be played on or before the dates below either as part of a society day or by mutual agreement on an 18 hole (SI) course.

• round 1 (32), all matches to be played by 30th May (Boughton)
• round 2 (16), all matches to be played by 25th July (Upchurch)
• round 3 (8), all matches to be played by 26th Sept (Sene Valley)
• round 4 (4), all matches to be played by 28th Nov (Chelsfield Lakes)
• finals day at Boughton GC 19th Dec - finalist (1st/2nd) and runners up (3rd/4th)

Entrance fee £5.00 payable in advance to Nigel Stevenson or Adi Gough

Awards for...

• 1st (trophy + 50% pot)* £50
• 2nd (trophy + 25% pot)* £25
• 3rd (trophy + 15% pot)* £15
• 4th (trophy + 10% pot)* £10

* ie: £5 x 32 = £160, less £60 awards = £100 prize pot

How does it work?

Should the cup match be played on a society day the club captain will pair the 2 drawn player as part of a 3/4 ball so both society match and cup knockout score together, ie: your score card counts for both competitions.

Should a player fail to attend the agreed match day the player not attending forfeits the match.

Should both players fail to complete their match before the dates above, both players are disqualified.

Any disputes will be referred to the club captain.

If more than 32 players register to play a pre-qualifying match draw will take place.

If less than 32 players register to play byes will be drawn.

Your society handicap as issued by the club captain to be used.

All players are asked to play with the spirit of the game and the society in mind.
